Your hotel's own booking site. No commission.
Doba is a complete booking engine and website for independent hotels, guesthouses and holiday apartments. Guests book with you directly, the money goes to you, and the guest list stays yours.
No sign-up, no credit card, no "contact sales". It is software you download and own.

Count what you pay in commission
Move the sliders to your own house. The arithmetic is shown in full — a number you cannot check is a sales pitch.
rooms × 365 × occupancy × portal share = nights through portals, × price × commission.
Portals bring you guests you would never have reached, and Doba does not replace them. It makes sure the guests who already know your name — returning guests, people who looked you up after seeing you on a portal, friends of friends — can book with you in two minutes instead of costing you 15% every time.
Everything a small house needs, nothing you have to rent
A real booking engine
Live availability, seasons and rate plans, minimum stays, holds while the guest pays, and a guarantee against double bookings that is tested on every change.
Payments to your account
Stripe, PayPal, LiqPay, bank transfer or pay at the desk. Deposit now and balance later, city tax on its own line, refunds and credit notes.
A website that gets found
Your own site in six languages with the technical SEO done properly: hreflang, structured data, sitemap, fast pages. Ranking for "hotel in your town" is the point.
Rooms and apartments
Sell hotel rooms and holiday flats side by side: cleaning fee once per stay, minimum nights, bedrooms and bathrooms, two units on one booking.
The front desk
Who arrives today and when, who is in the house, who leaves. Phone and walk-in bookings, room assignment, late check-out requests.
Housekeeping on a phone
A list of doors to clean with one big button each. The door with a guest arriving this afternoon comes first. No guest names on it.
Portal calendars in sync
Two-way iCal with Booking.com, Airbnb and others, so a room sold there is closed here and the other way round.
Invoices and the accountant
Numbered invoices with VAT per rate, credit notes, and a monthly CSV your accountant can import.
Your guest book
Every guest with their stays and what they spent, a returning-guest discount, verified reviews, and GDPR export and erasure as buttons.
Built for the people who actually run the house

Three ways in, all ending at the same setup wizard
The wizard asks for your hotel's name, your rooms and your prices, and the calendar is live when it finishes. No command line needed.
Upload one file
- Download doba-installer.php from the latest release.
- Upload it to your web hosting with FTP.
- Open it in your browser and follow the steps.
Needs web hosting with PHP 8.4. Most hosts let you pick the PHP version in their control panel.
Docker
- Run this one command.
- Open the address in your browser.
- Updating later is pulling a newer image.
docker run -d -p 8080:80 \ -v doba-data:/data \ -e DOBA_URL=http://localhost:8080 \ ghcr.io/gumslone/doba
Works on a Raspberry Pi and a Synology too.
One line
- Paste this on your server.
- Point your web server at the public folder.
- Open the site — the wizard takes over.
curl -fsSL \ https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gumslone/doba/main/scripts/install.sh \ | bash
Verifies the download checksum before unpacking anything.
Young, tested, and looking for its first hotels
Doba is new. It is covered by more than 600 automated tests on two databases, and no hotel has run on it in production yet — every release is marked pre-release for exactly that reason.
If you run a small house and are willing to be one of the first, you get the maintainer's full attention: tell us what confused you and it gets fixed. Web agencies are welcome too — it is MIT-licensed, re-themeable, and yours to install for clients. Read the agency page.
